The Role

Support our team by guiding; employee relations matters; workers compensation; and partnering with the retail leadership team to drive education throughout the retail workforce around performance management, appraisals, and HB policy and legislation compliance.
To be successful in this role, you will have a knack for employee relations and thrive on diffusing, educating, and being the listening ear of our HB Honeys when seeking additional support throughout any challenges they face and successes they achieve.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Leadership Team and HB Boutique Management to drive & educate compliance, performance management, and engagement – creating a highly supportive and collaborative environment.
- Be the first point of care for all honeys when requiring additional support for any incident reports and people concerns.
- Provide sound advice, support and knowledge across the people function.
- Collaborating with leaders to ensure timely attention, risk assessment, education and resolution of all people matters.
- Manage and maintain Workers Compensation documentation and information, so all required parties are aware of compliance requirements.
- Preparing reports, insights and recommendations on key people metrics and initiatives.
- Management recruitment across the business.
- Consistently participate and collaborate with People Operations Director and broader People Ops team.
Your Sweet Spots (About You)
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Human Resources – retail or hospitality highly desirable.
- Experience using Kronos HRIS (UKG Ready) is advantageous
- Values collaboration, communication, and driving a highly cohesive environment.
- Resilient, compassionate, thrives on mentoring others.
- Proven experience in fast paced working environment with high level of initiative.
- Employee experience driven, communications expert with ability to provide positive and fast outcomes.
- Team player with ability to work autonomously & within a team environment.
- Ability to drive compliance of company policies & processes and best practice.
- Calm under pressure with proven ability to work within deadlines.
